It all started with shaving irritation. Balms, special soaps and shave creams. I tried everything that supposedly reduced irritation, nothing worked. Some products made the irritation worse. I'm sure most people know how uncomfortable razor burn can be.

 I researched ingredients,formulated several mixtures, tested, altered and eventually developed a formula or two that definitely reduce razor burn. The reason is high quality ingredients, great care is taken, and processes are strictly recorded. After that, I test on myself since I have sensitive skin. I strive to improve shaving comfort. I use only traditional old school ingredients as much as possible. These are mostly natural, or minimally processed. I now get an awesome shave without bad irritation.

A few people have used these shave soaps and are also impressed by the quality and comfort. My shave soaps lather fast and rich, rinse off quickly and easily and are less drying than most shaving soaps. The lather stays stable for hours. No problems with dry, tight or itchy skin as skin is left soft and moisturized from the fine ingredients in the soap.

This then led me to the inevitable. Make products for people with sensitive skin. I spoke with friends who mentioned neither they nor their children could use regular soap. I think we all know someone who itches from using commercially available soap. Dry, itchy skin, some even end up with rash. Then there are the eczema and psoriasis sufferers who can't use anything resembling soap. I thought about that issue and wonder why there are so few options. I cannot claim to treat nor even relieve any symptoms. I can surely reduce the irritation by choosing ingredients wisely, formulate specifically to reduce irritation by avoiding those ingredients known to cause reactions.

A neighbor has skin issues with soap. I gave him some to try, his issue cleared up right away. Its the ingredients I choose to use.

Making soap is a LOT of work and it's expensive. I make no claim of medicinal qualities to my creations but they do contain ingredients that are known to assist in reducing flare-ups of certain natures, reduce itching and dry skin etc. It depends on the skin issue but we can formulate for most any particular skin issue, with extracts, tinctures, absolutes, essential oils and nut-free formulations, vegan is now available.

Mechanic's soap in stock, may help prevent drying of working hands. I've personally worked with a LOT of various oils and grease, cutting fluids, and just about every compound known to man and every hand cleaner I've used seems to do more damage to my skin than just leaving whatever goop is already on my hands.
